Holton Leads Area Performances with Fourth Place Finish at Silver Lake Wrestling Invitational

2019 Silver Lake Wrestling Invitational – Results

The high school wrestling season continued Saturday and behind four first place finishes the Holton Wildcats came away with a fourth place finish at the Silver Lake Invitational to lead area performances.

The Wildcats had Jake Barnes take first at 106 pounds, Kolby Roush at 132 pounds, Cael Jackson at 152 and Konnor Tannahill first at 182 pounds.

Holton also had Lucas Adcock take fourth place at 113 pounds, while Cayden Jackson did the same at 120 pounds.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy and ACCHS also each finished wrestlers inside of the top four of their respective weight classes at the Silver Lake Invite, as the Ravens had Conner Wilson take third at 160 pounds while the Tigers were led by a fourth place finish by Mason Scholz at 106 pounds.

Atchison rounded out the tournament with a third place finish by Nick Funk at 285 pounds, while Jake Rebant also finished fifth at 120.
