Plenty of area teams remain in the rankings as we're now a third of the way through the regular season.

In 8-Man Division II there are three teams currently inside the top five from the Twin Valley League with perfect records. Frankfort remains at #5 while Hanover and Axtell are #1 and #2 respectively. All are boasting perfect 3-0 records and Axtell will travel to Hanover this week in one of the biggest match ups in the state.

In 8-Man Division I there a few local teams getting some consideration but none that are currently ranked inside the top five.

In Class 1A, Centralia has jumped into the rankings at #5 after their big win over Jackson Heights on Friday improving to 2-1. The Panthers only loss is to Rossville who is currently the #1 team in Class 2A.

Following Rossville at #2 in Class 2A is the Thunder of Nemaha Central who defeated Sabetha on Friday night improving to 2-1 with their only loss to Holton who is ranked in Class 3A.
