Nemaha Central's John Langill Wins Home Cross Country Meet

COMPLETE RESULTS 

Nemaha Central held their home cross country meet on Thursday and Thunder runner John Langill finished in first place with a time of 17:25.40 which was nearly 30 seconds ahead of Wetmore's Colby Hanzlicek. 

Atchison County's Haeden Forbes finished in fourth place while Valley Falls runner Dawson Branam finished in 7th place. 

Horton's Trevor Ottman finished in 11th place. 

In the girls 5K, it was Doniphan West claiming the team title, followed by Nemaha Central and Valley Falls. 

Former athlete of the week, Elle Williams of Doniphan West took first place and her teammate Claire Cole followed in second place. 

Nemaha Central's Hailey Nordhus finished in third and her teammate Maddy Mosteller finished in fifth. Kyndall Sextro also finished in the top ten for the Thunder finishing in 7th.
