KSHSAA Announces Football Classification Changes for 2022-2023

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has announced classification changes in football for 2022-2023. 

Some notable schools in the northeast Kansas area are affected by these changes. 

Horton will be moving up from Class 1A to Class 2A. Sabetha will be dropping from Class 3A to Class 2A. 

McLouth will be dropping from Class 2A to Class 1A. Onaga will be moving up from 8-Man to Class 1A. Also, Oskaloosa will be dropping from Class 2A to Class 1A. 

Valley Falls will be moving up from 8-Man to Class 1A. 

Doniphan West will be moving from 8-Man Division One to 8-Man Division Two and Wetmore will drop from the 8-Man level to 6-Man.
