The Atchison County boys wrestling team, ranked among the top three in Class 3-2-1A, captured the team title at the Silver Lake Invitational on Saturday in dominant fashion, piling up 247.5 points.

The Tigers crowned three individual champions and added three runner-up finishes, two third-place finishes, and three fourth-place finishes to secure the convincing victory.

Host Silver Lake finished second with 191.5 points, highlighted by one individual champion, three runner-up finishes, and two third-place finishes. Caney Valley placed third with 179 points, followed by Hill City in fourth with 140 points and Southeast of Saline in fifth with 120.5 points.

Riley County finished seventh with 86 points and produced one individual champion. Jefferson West placed 12th with 62 points, Nemaha Central finished 18th with 35 points, and Royal Valley rounded out the standings in 20th place with 34 points.
