Jefferson West boys golf took home a second place finish on Thursday afternoon at the Southern Lyon County Invitational at Emporia Golf Course. 

The Tigers finished the tournament with a team score of 337 trailing only Santa Fe Trail who won the tourney with a score of 329. 

Jeff West had two in the top 10 and two more in the top 15. Gage Moser finished fifth with a 79, Colter Berens finished seventh with an 83, Jace Coleman finished 12th with an 87, and Zach Gibson finished 13th with a round of 88. 

Silver Lake would finish the tournament in third place with a team score of 347. The Eagles were led by Noah Streit as he finished in fourth place with a round of 78, Brody Kelley finished eighth with a round of 83, and Axton Howey finished in 15th with a round of 88. 

Rossville finished in fourth place with a team score of 364. The Bulldogs were led by Jack Donovan who finished in second place with a round of 76. Donovan tied Santa Fe Trail's Cale Anshutz for the top score in the tournament, but finished runner-up.
