Nemaha Central hosted their boys golf invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Spring Creek Golf Course and the field was loaded!
Wamego, one of the best overall teams in the state, won the tournament and had the top two individual finishes. Regan Kueker and Breckin Miller led Wamego as they both finished atop the leaderboard with 3-under rounds of 69.
Following Wamego (297) in the team standings was Sabetha who finished in second place with a score of 329 along with Nemaha Central who finished in third place with a 329.
Sabetha was solid with their top three finishing inside the top 20 with Dawson Moore in 12th place with an 81, Lucas Keim in 14th with an 81, and Gavin Wedel in 17th with an 82.
Layton Thomas of Nemaha Central finished in fourth place with an even par round of 72 while Colten Corby finished in eighth place with a round of 78.
Perry-Lecompton finished the day in fifth place with a team score of 337 and they were led by Toby Wagner who finished in third place with a 2-under round of 70.
Rounding out some notable scores in the top 10 which included Easton Moulin of Holton in fifth place with a round of 75, Jack Donovan of Rossville in seventh with a round of 77, and Graham Valburg of Onaga in 10th place with a round of 80.
