The Jefferson County North girls and Jackson Heights boys won the Jackson Heights Invitational track and field meet on Tuesday afternoon.
Girls - Jefferson County North and Jackson Heights were the clear cut top two teams in the field with JCN scoring north of 178 while the Cobras finished behind in second with 147.
The Chargers got first place finishes from Gwynn Blattner in the 100m dash, Rylee Thompson in the 800m run, Taylor Schrick in the javelin, while they also finished second place in all three relay events.
Jackson Heights got first place finishes from Brynn Shupe in the 200m dash, Sabrina Streeter in the 300m hurdles, and they also added top finishes in all three relay events.
Lillie Weiser led Onaga with first place finishes in the high jump, pole vault, long jump, and triple jump. The Buffs also got a top finish from Emarsyn Fordham in the discus.
Boys - The Cobra boys posted a massive day with north of 230 points on the afternoon. They got first place finishes from Kyson Proffitt in the 100m dash and 400m dash, Tatum Eisenbarth in the 200m dash, Sawyer Shupe in the 300m hurdles, Brody Browning in the pole vault, Isaak Karns in the long jump, and Kolby Bowhay in the triple jump. The Cobras also won both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay events.
Jefferson County North got top finishes from Mathias Domann in the 800m run, Scott Roloff in the 3200m run, while also winning the 4x800m relay.
