Onaga and Centralia Boys Golf Qualify for State Tournament

The Onaga and Centralia boys golf teams qualified for the state tournament after finishing second and third respectively at the regional tournament on Tuesday at Cedar Hills Golf Course. 

Hill City won the regional title with a team score of 334 while Oanga finished behind with a score of 366, and then Centralia with a score of 371. 

Graham Valburg led Onaga with a third place finish on the leaderboard with a round of 78. Centralia's top finish came from Bronx Talley who finished in sixth place with an 84. 

Centralia's Tyler Jones finished in eighth place with a round of 84 and Onaga's Koy Nider finished 12th with a round of 91. 

Hanover got two individual qualifiers to state as Max Dragastin finished 10th with a round of 87, and Hayden Bruna who finished in 14th place with a round of 94. 

The 1A State Tournament will be held in McPherson at Turkey Creek on May 26-27.
