Nemaha Valley led 30-18 at the half against Holcomb and fend them off the rest of the game by outrebounding them 31-22 and shooting 39-44 from the free throw line, while Holcomb was 9-25 from three-point land. Caleb Meyer paced the Raiders with 31 points on 7-8 from the floor and 17-20 from the free throw line, setting a 3A state record for free throw's made in a game. Justice McKernan added 17 points in the game going 11-12 from the charity stripe.
