Nemaha Central won it's first ever game as the Thunder taking down rival Sabetha. Tristan Allen took over at quarterback this year and posted an 8-11 night for 157 yards and TD to Zach Bradley who finished the night with 4 receptions for 80 yards and a score. Devin Henry had just 50 yards on 19 carries but 2 TDs, while Abe Elder had a 35-yard pick six on defense.
Sabetha in the loss saw quarterback, Brandon Poe go 5-11 for 83 yards TD and INT, while rushing for 21 yards on 8 carries and TD. Kegan Schumann and Brett Plattner carried the load as Schumann posted 85 yards on 19 carries and a TD, while Plattner notched 49 yards on 16 carries.
