Troy Trojans welcomed themselves to the Twin Valley League in impressive fashion shutting out Washington County and putting up 30 on the Tigers. Tristan Speer picked up were he left off from last year going 18-29 for 297 yards and 3 TD's, while rushing for a score. Cuttar Huss caught 7 passes for 163 yards and 2 TD's (38 & 51 yards), while Alex Schmille caught a 41-yard TD pass.
Washington County moved the ball early but had their first three offensive drives stall out in the Troy redzone. Andrew Tiemeyer paced the Tigers with 150 yards on 20 carries, while Konner Penning was just 4-19 passing for 85 yards and INT, all 4 completions went to Zach Ottot.
