Horton Chargers opened the season with a league win in the NEKL taking down Jackson Heights. The Chargers lead 26-0 at the half and cruised to the win as Spencer DeLosSantos highlighted the night with four INT's for Horton on defense, as Jackson Heights ahd six turnovers in the contest. Offensively, Derek Richardson posted 169 yards on 21 carries and 3 TD's, while Derek Stone added 90 yards on 13 carries with 3 TD's and 3-7 passing for 56 yards. Rex Bruning added a rushing TD.
