Nemaha Central held off Riverside as the Thunder had the 14-6 led at the half and picked off Cyclone QB, Andrae McGaughy in the final minutes to secure the win. Devin Henry paced the Thunder with an 84yd kick-off return TD and 92yds on 20 carries, while Tristan Allen added a rushing TD and Zach Bradley tossed an 11-yard TD to Dylan Steinlage on a halfback pass. On defense, Micah Ulmer had 2 sacks, while Ryan Hasenkamp and Matt Winkler each had INT's.
Riverside was plagued by three second-half turnovers as McGaughy was 7-13 for 128yds 2 INT and had 16 carries for 107yds and 2 TDs, but a fumble, also. Bryer Miller chipped in 65yds on 13 carries and TD.
