Perry Lecompton held a 28-21 lead at the half and had to hold on for the 1-point win over Riverside in a BIg Seven League battle. Austin Kurtz paced the Kaws with an 83-yard kick return TD and 161 yards on 24 carries, while Seth Surface was 11-17 for 124 yards for 3 TDs and INT and had 103 yards on the ground on 13 carries with 2 TDs. Landon Jamison, Spencer Roe and Cody Williams each had a TD reception from Surface.
Riverside in the loss did post 530 yards of total offense, as Andrae McGaughy was 20-33 with 211 yards TD but had 3 INTs and had 139 yards on 19 carries with 3 TDs. Mason McCall had 3 carries for 62 yards TD, while Bryer Miller posted 64 yards on 13 carries and TD and Colton Munger had 9 receptions for 125 yards and TD.
