Perry-Lecompton's Eli Dean was named the Sports in Kansas Class 3A Player of the Year in baseball for the 2025 season. 

Dean had a batting average of .583 with 42 hits and 21 RBI's. He added five home runs, 10 doubles, and scored 50 runs. 

On the mound, Dean pitched 48 innings with 83 strikeouts and a 2.33 ERA. Dean will continue his baseball career next year at Washburn. 

Joining Dean on the first team in Class 3A was Cooper Watkins of Jefferson West, Cooper Camidilli of Silver Lake, Dysen Schooler of Silver Lake, Drew Beilman of Jefferson West, Mitchell Kramer of Sabetha, Reid Mitchell of Sabetha, Sam Nordhus of Nemaha Central, and Caige Starnes of Perry-Lecompton. 

Second team selections in Class 3A included Keagan Hughes of Riverside, Corbin Mayer of Jefferson West, Logan Cathcart of Silver Lake, Brett Hopper of Riley County, Evan Olberding of Nemaha Central, Ike Tramp of Sabetha, and Cole Menold of Sabetha. 

Class 2-1A first team selections included Jackson Kolterman of Onaga, Trenton VanHoutan of Valley Falls, Hayden Kearney of Valley Falls, Austin Green of Pleasant Ridge, Canaan Mitchell of Rossville, Collin Kearney of Valley Falls, and Carter Olsen of Frankfort. 

Second team selections in Class 2-1A included Hunter Miller of Oskaloosa, Cael Horgan of Rossville, Cooper Eberly of Doniphan West, Wes Anderson of Frankfort, Damian Cervantez of Valley Falls,  Logan Kufahl of Rossville, Ty Smith of Frankfort, and Matt Stapp of Valley Falls. 

Atchison's Yogi Purdy was named to the third 9 for all-classes and was a first team selection in Class 4A. Atchison also had Kolton Bonnel who was named to the second team.
