Nemaha Central Thunder baseball team finished this past season 15-6 on the diamond are just a few years removed for a Class 3A State title back in 2016. 

Recently Thunder junior, Austin Gerety picked up some big individual honors for his baseball skills as he got the nod for a spot on the American Family Insurance All-USA Baseball team honors from the USA Today. They recognize players from each State as one All-State team no matter classification and Gerety earned second team honors at infield. (Full list - click here) 

Gerety had already racked up first team All-State honors at second base by the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches and first team All-Big Seven League honors at infield for his junior campaign.
