For the second time this season the Holton girls’ golf team picked up a first place team finish in a meet, as the Lady Cats hit the road yesterday and took the top spot at the Spring Hill Invitational.

The Lady Cats finished with a four-person team score of 186, led by Sarah Holaday who finished third individually.

Faith Holaday also had a strong showing placing 10th, while Abbigail Hundley finished with her personal best on the day carding a 49.

Taylor Stevens also played well on the day, but finished with Hundley just outside of medal contention.

The team win marked the second for the Lady Cats on the season, as Holton also took the Jeff West quad in their first meet of the season.

The Lady Cats will next be in action Monday night, traveling to the Jeff West Invite.
