Perry Lecompton Boys, Jackson Heights Girls Take Royal Valley Cross Country Invite

Royal Valley Cross County Invitational – Results.

The Royal Valley Cross County Invite took place Thursday night, and the Perry Lecompton boys took first while the Jackson Heights girls took first as well.

On the boys side the Kaws had three runners inside of the top 10, as Josh Mitts led the way taking second with a time of 18:13.61. James Bartlett also took fifth for the Kaws with a time of 18:28.38, while Jessye Schumann took eighth with a time of 19:09.36.

Jackson Heights’ Daniel Little won the meet on the boys side with a dazzling time of 17:59.91, as the Cobras took second as a team with Drew Holliday also taking ninth at 19:10.86.

Royal Valley’s Nue Tinajero also took fourth with a time of 18:24.47, while McLouth had Jared Plake take sixth.

On the girls side the Cobras had three runners inside of the top 10, as Annie Allen took fifth to lead the way with a time of 22:01.26 while Faith Little finished in seventh and Shelby Phillips ninth.

McLouth finished third as a team and had two girls finished inside of the top five, as Reagan Clark took second with a time of 21:43.20 and Baylee Wolfe not behind in fourth with a time of 21:58.94.

Jeff West had Macy Tucker take sixth with a time of 22:20.46, while Holton had Hannah Ent take 11th at 23:23.98.

With a sixth place finish as a team Perry Lecompton had two girls inside of the top 15, as Blaise Ball finished in eighth while Jolie Hirsch took 12th.
