JCN Girls, Jackson Heights Boys Claim Lyle Alley Cross Country Invititational

Lyle Alley Cross Country Invitational – Results.

For the first time in school history the Jackson Heights Cobras honored the legendary Lyle Alley with a cross country invitational in his name Tuesday, and the Jefferson County North girls along with the Jackson Heights boys each took first place.

On the girls side the JCN girls finished with five runners inside of the top 15, led by Zetta Noll who took third with a time of 22:07.06. The Chargers also had Rose Wendling take sixth, Liz Easterday eighth, Triston Wyatt 10th and Makayla Ratzloff 12th.

Jackson Heights took second as a team with two runners inside of the top five, as Faith Little won the meet with a time of 20:56.38 while Shelby Philips took fifth.

Holton also had three runners inside of the top 15, as Alayna Clayton took seventh, Paige Paxton 13th and Gracie Gallagher 15th.

On the boys side the Cobras took the top spot with four runners inside of the top 10, led by Daniel Little who took second with a time of 17:34.69. Jackson Heights also had AJ Mock take sixth, Drew Holliday eighth and Kolten Brenner ninth.

JCN took second as a team with three runners inside of the top 15, as Trevor Pentlin won the meet with a time of 17:33.38 while Logan Baker took seventh and Dylan Wendling 13th.

Nemaha Central also had two runners inside of the top 15, as Dominic Hammes finished 10th and Roland Voracek 15th.
