TVL All-League Volleyball Teams Announced

The 2018 high school volleyball season officially came to a close Saturday and with that postseason all-league teams are starting to be announced.

The Twin Valley League released their All-League selections Monday, and after winning a 1A State Championship Saturday the Centralia Panthers were well represented.

The Panthers dominated the league once again going a perfect 12-0 and had six players earn all-league honors. Centralia had four players on the first team in Kate Elliott, Maegan Koch, Morgan Kramer and Madison Lueger. The Panthers also had Kennedy Becker and Avery Deters make it on the second team.

Frankfort and Valley Heights tied for second in the league at 10-2 and each had two players make the first team, as the Wildcats had Kennan Brandt and Emilee Ebert while the Mustangs had Kennedy Stevenson and Sam Vermetten.

The All-TVL First Team was rounded out by Hanover, Clifton-Clyde, Wetmore and Axtell who each had one player earn first team honors. The Wildcats were represented by Macy Doebele, Clifton-Clyde by Olivia Nobert, the Cardinals by Reagan Osterhaus and Axtell by Kori Schmelzle.
