Riverside Wrestling Takes Third, Sabetha Fourth at Sabetha Invitational

Sabetha Wrestling Invitational – Results

The winter sports season continued over the weekend with several area wrestling teams in action, and Riverside finished third at the Sabetha Invite while the host Bluejays took fourth.

Riverside had a strong day taking third, led by Beau Horn who went 5-0 in the 132-pound weight class. Luke Horn also went 5-0 in the 145 pound class, while Kinston Juhl did the same at 160 pounds.

The Cyclones also had Austin Getting go 3-2 in the 120 pound weight class, while Devin Smith did the same at 152 and Kaedin Juhl at 195 pounds.

As to Sabetha they had several guys go 4-1 on the day, as Kaden Dillion picked up three wins via pinfall at 126 pounds while Walker Lowdermilk also went 4-1 at 160 pounds.

At 170 pounds Colby Tinklin picked up three wins by decision going 4-1, while at 285 pounds Elliott Strahm officially went 5-0 on the day despite wrestling just one match winning via pinfall.

Cameron Harrell also went 3-2 in the 106 pound weight class, while Kamden Brownlee did the same at 145.

The Bluejays will next be in action Thursday at Holton, while the Cyclones are off until after the first off the year.
