Ottawa Wrestling Invitational – Results

The high school wrestling season continued Saturday for the Holton Wildcats competing at the Ottawa Invitational, and it was the Cats who came away with a first place team finish going a perfect 5-0 in matches on the day.

Holton had three guys go 5-0 on the day and one other go 4-0, as Jake Barnes went undefeated in the 106 pound weight class while Kolby Roush did the same at 132 along with Taygen Fletcher at 138 pounds and Konnor Tannahill at 182.

The Cats also had Conner Collins at 152 pounds and Cael Jackson at 160 pounds each go 4-1 on the day, while Lucas Adcock at 113, Slater Skaggs at 126, Conner Gilliland at 145 and Dustin Chermok at 195 each finished the day 3-2.

The Wildcats will next be in action Thursday for their final meet of 2018, as Holton will host Spring Hill for a dual that gets underway at 4 p.m.
