Big 7 Track Quad at Hiawatha – Results

The Big 7 League track season rolled along Tuesday night as Hiawatha hosted an invitational, and it was an extremely competive day on the track and in field events. 

The Nemaha Central girls finished with the most gold medal winners with 11, led by Jacy Dalinghaus who earned three first place finishes winning the javelin, discus and shot put.

Alleigh Kramer added two more individual golds, as she took the long jump and 100 meter dash. 

The Thunder also got individual gold medals from Madison Lortscher in the high jump, Faith Henry in the 400 meter dash, Hannah Macke in the 800 meter run and Heather Suther in the 200 meter dash. 

Nemaha Central rounded out first place finishes on the girl's side with two relay gold medals, as Kramer, Macke, Suther and Rachel Gudenkauf won the 4 by 100 meter relay while Macke, Henry, Aydan Bass and Matilde Trezzi won the 4 by 400 meter relay. 

Hiawatha added three more gold medals on the girl's side, as Ashlynn Henry won the triple jump, Kate Madsen the 1600 meter run and Jasemine Morey the 3200 meter run. 

Holton also added two first place finishes as Regan Baum won the 100 meter hurdles and Isabell Watkins the 300 meter hurdles, while Jeff West was led by Macy Tucker in the pole vault and the 4 by 800 meter relay team of Peyton Ross, Mellany Roenne, Sarah Sayles and Heather Kahler. 

On the boy's side Holton led the way with seven gold medal winners, led by Kale Purcell and Ian Watkins who each won two events. Jayger Carson also won the 400 meter dash, while he teamed up with Watkins, Trey Wright and Reese Robinson to take the 4 by 100 and 400 meter relay crowns. 

Hiawatha added six more first place finishers with Andrew Lierz, Jayden Gibson, Broderick Jones, Parker Winters Justin Hodge who each won individual golds while the Tigers also won the 4 by 800 meter relay. 

The Jeff West boys finished with two first place finishes, as Aaron McGrath won the javelin and Conner Inman the 1600 meter run.

Nemaha Central rounded out the day with three golds, as Dylan Schultejans won the triple jump and pole vault while Nathan Deters won the shot put.
