Holton Girls, Atchison Boys Track Teams Lead Area Performances at Atchison Invitational

Atchison Invitational – Team Results & Individual Results

Area teams competed at the Atchison track & field invitational Thursday afternoon and it was the Holton girls and Atchison boys who had the best team performances each taking fourth.

The Wildcat girls had two first place finishes on the day, with Saydee Tanking winning the discus throw along with taking the javelin throw.

Troy’s Morgan Masters won the 200 meter-dash and the long jump, while Amanda Stock won the triple jump.

Atchison also had two first place finishers and both wins came in distance races, as Adalynn Collins won both the 1600 and 3200-meter runs.

On the boy’s side the Redmen had three more gold medal winners, led by Alex Martin winning the 100 and 200-meter dashes while Nick Funk won the shot put.

ACCHS added three more first place finishes, led by Trystin Myers who won the 300-meter hurdles and triple jump while Tucker Smith won the 400-meter dash.

The final two gold medals went to Troy and Holton, as the Trojans had Tysen Williams win the long jump while the Wildcats had Canon Karn win the javelin throw.
