Area Athletes Compete at KU Track & Field Relays

2019 Kansas Relays – Results

Area track and field athletes took part in the Kansas relays over the weekend and there were several top performers.

The best finish of any area athlete came from Centralia’s Madison Lueger, as she finished second in the javelin just nine inches behind the eventual winner from Andale.

Nemaha Central’s Jacy Dalinghaus also had a strong showing at the KU relays placing in two events, as she took third in the javelin and seventh in the shot put.

Perry Lecompton also had Talisa Stone take fourth in the high jump, while Centralia added a seventh-place finish in the boys’ high jump from Peyton Davis.

The Panther girls also two more girls place in the top 10 in the pole vault, as Lynsie Curtis took fifth while Carter Hawkins finished eighth.
