Frankfort Track Teams Compete at Manhattan Invitational

Manhattan Invitational – Results

Area track and field teams continued their seasons Thursday afternoon at the Manhattan Invitational and Frankfort led area performances taking third on the girl’s side and fourth on the boys.

On the girl’s side the Wildcats had three first place finishers, with Kennen Brandt winning the 800-meter run, while two relay teams also won gold. The team of Maggie Armstrong, Grace Dressman, Lydia Loiseau and Emilee Ebert claimed the 4 by 100-meter relay, while the team of Brandt, Mariah Broxterman, Trinity Koch and Laney Yaussi won the 4 by 800-meter relay.

On the boy’s side the Wildcats had just two golds with Carson Schreiner winning the 100-meter dash, while the team of Schreiner, Caden Dalinghaus, Keller Olson and Ethan Armstrong won the 4 by 100-meter relay.
