All-League Softball Teams Announced for Big 7 League

2019 Big 7 League Softball All-League - Selections

It was another competitive season throughout the Big 7 league on the softball side with once again the Holton Wildcats claiming the league title while also making it back to the 3A State Tournament.

With that the all-league teams have been released and the Lady Cats had just one first team selection with Gracie Gallagher earning a spot as a pitcher.

Jeff West finished second in the league with a 10-4 record and had two first team members with Grace Garrett earning a selection at pitcher and Riley Buss as an infielder.

Royal Valley added four more first team selections with Maddie Saia earning a spot as an outfielder, Jenna Elmer on the infield, Emily Albright at catcher and McKenzie Ogden as a utility player.

Nemaha Central finished with a 6-5 league record and added three more selections with Ashley Hammes selected as an outfielder, Lexi Lueger on the infield and Taryn Ganstrom at utility.

Sabetha and Perry Lecompton rounded out first team selections, as the Lady Jays had Maggi Hughes earn a spot on the infield and Trista Argabright at catcher while the Kaws were led by Gracie Folks in the outfield.
