Area Athletes Compete in KBCA All-Star Game

KBCA All-Star Game – Box Score

Some of the area’s best athletes hit the court for one final time at the high school level Saturday evening competing in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game and three area girls shined as the white squad took the game by a 76-65 final.

Frankfort’s Emilee Ebert led the white squad with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and will now get set to join the Kansas State University’s women’s basketball team.

Nemaha Central’s Jacy Dalinghaus added 5 points and 2 assists for the white squad, and she will now turn her attention to a college career throwing and playing basketball at Cloud County Community College.

Royal Valley’s Mary Broxterman got the start for the blue squad and shined scoring 7 points while pulling down 8 rebounds and dishing out two assists in 16 minutes on the court and will now take the volleyball court at Cloud County Community College.

Along with Broxterman the Panther’s were represented by head coach Kyle Porter who was a part of the coaching staff on the blue squad after leading Royal Valley to a 3A State Championship this past season.
