The legion baseball AA zone tournament at Sabetha rolled along Tuesday night with two winner’s bracket games and it was Silver Lake and Sabetha each advancing as Silver Lake took down Marysville 4-1 while Sabetha beat Seneca 13-3 in six innings.

The Raptors win over Seneca was the featured game on 103.9 KNZA and despite committing four errors Sabetha used a five run fifth and three run sixth to earn the run-rule victory.

Brayden Becker was named the McDonald’s Player of the Game on Kanzaland Radio after walking three times, scoring three runs and recording a triple, while Gabe Garber was on base five times including a single, double and three runs scored.

All nine batters reached base for Sabetha, while Trevor Kramer got the win on the mound with Braden Argabright pitching the final two innings not allowing a hit while striking out three.

Sabetha and Silver Lake each advance to Wednesday night where they will face off around 8 p.m. on KNZA, while Marysville and Seneca will both be back in action Tuesday evening with Marysville taking on Corning at 6 p.m. while Seneca will have Hiawatha around 8 p.m..
