Five Area Teams Highlight Week Two KVA Rankings

KVA Week Two – Rankings

A little over two weeks of the high school volleyball season are in the books and with that five area teams are ranked according to the Kansas Volleyball Association.

The best ranking of any area team continues to come from Royal Valley in Class 3A as the Panthers are a perfect 17-0 after two wins over Nemaha Central and Sabetha Tuesday night.

As to the Bluejays they continue to be ranked and moved up a few spots and are now ranked fourth with a record of 15-3 after going 1-1 Tuesday with the loss to Royal Valley and a win over Nemaha Central.

Class 2A now features two area teams with Valley Heights still at No. 6 with a 15-3 overall record and a 7-0 Twin Valley League record while Oskaloosa is into the rankings at No. 10 with a record of 11-5.

The final ranked area team comes in Class 1A as Centralia has dropped to No. 3 posting a 9-3 overall record and a 6-1 record in the TVL.
