Perry Boys Cross Country Wins McLouth Invitational, McLouth Girls Finish Third

McLouth Invitational – Results

Area cross country teams continued their seasons Thursday evening at the McLouth Invitational and the best area finishes came from the McLouth girls and Perry Lecompton boys.

The Bulldog girls finished third in the team standings and had two girls finish inside of the top 15 with Kennedy Coffin taking seventh while Reagan Clark took 10th.

The best finish of any area runner came from Perry Lecompton’s Blaise Ball who took fourth while Jeff West had Macy Tucker right behind in fifth and Jeff County North’s Zetta Noll sixth.

The girl’s side was rounded out by Maur Hill-Mount Academy and Pleasant Ridge as the Ravens had Ceeli Haigh take 12th and Charlotte Haigh 15th while the Rams were led by Silvia Buccomino’s 14th place finish.

On the boy’s side Perry Lecompton claimed the top spot with three guys inside of the top 15 led by James Bartlett who took fifth while Reece Sollars finished 10th and Michael LeClair 15th.

The best area finish came from JCN’s Trevor Pentlin who took second while Valley Falls’ Noah Hefty claimed eighth.

The most area finishers inside of the top 15 came from McLouth who had Henry Cloyd take sixth, August Forsberg 11th, Kody Schupp 12th and Jared Plake 14th.
