McLouth Boys Take First, Girls Second at Royal Valley Cross Country Invitational

Royal Valley Cross Country Invitational – Results

Area cross country teams continued their seasons Thursday at the Royal Valley Invitational and the best finishes came from the McLouth girls who took second while the Bulldog boys took first.

The McLouth girls took the second team spot behind three runners inside of the top eight led by Kennedy Coffin who finished fifth while Reagan Clark who took sixth and Baylee Wolfe seventh.

The final spot in the top eight on the girl’s side was captured by Jackson Heights’ Shelby Phillips who ended the race in eighth.

The boy’s race was dominated by McLouth who had four guys inside of the top 15 led by Henry Cloyd who finished second while Jared Plake ended fourth. The Bulldogs also had August Forsberg take ninth place while Kody Schupp ended the race 15th.

The race was rounded out by Jackson Heights who had two runners inside of the top 15 led by Daniel Little who won the race while Drew Holliday finished 12th.
