Frankfort Volleyball Takes Second at Onaga Invitational to Lead Area Teams

Onaga Invitational – Results

Area high school volleyball teams got back in action Saturday competing at the Onaga Invitational and the best finish came from Frankfort who ended the day 4-1 to take second.

The Wildcats ended the round-robin tournament with wins over Onaga, Blue Valley, Washington County and Wetmore but a loss to eventual champion Wabaunsee.

As to the Washington County Tigers, they ended the day with a 2-3 record to take third, while Wetmore was also 2-3 but finished fourth.

The tournament was rounded out by Onaga and Blue Valley who each picked up one win on the day.
