Six Area Volleyball Teams Highlight Week Six KVA Rankings

Week Six KVA – Rankings

The high school volleyball season is quickly winding down with just about a week remaining in the regular season and six area team are featured in the latest rankings released by the Kansas Volleyball Association last night. 

In Class 4A the Holton Lady Cats continue to hold a spot in the top 10 and moved up one spot to No. 9 this week after a pair of wins over Perry Lecompton and Riverside Tuesday night. 

The Class 3A rankings continue to house two teams with Royal Valley holding the top spot once again with a record of 27-3 while Sabetha remained at No. 7 with a 23-7 record. 

Class 2A has a new area team into the rankings with Jackson Heights at No. 9 with a record of 29-3 while Valley Heights has moved up one spot this week to No. 4 at 27-4. 

The final ranked area team comes in Class 1A with the Centralia Panthers ranked second at 25-5 after two more wins Tuesday night over Frankfort and Wetmore.
