Jackson Heights Girls, JCN Boys Lead Area Performances at Lyle Alley Cross Country Invitational

Lyle Alley Invitational at Jackson Heights – Results

Area cross country teams continued their seasons Tuesday afternoon at the Lyle Alley Invitational hosted by Jackson Heights and the Cobra girls along with the Jeff County North boys led area performances.

The Jackson Heights girls finished second as a team with three runners inside of the top three led by Annie Allen who finished third while Shelby Phillips added a fifth-place finish and Skyla Howe seventh.

 The meet was won by Doniphan West’s Chloe Clevinger who won the meet by nearly a minute while Jeff County North added two top 10 finishers as Zetta Noll took fourth and Makayla Ratzloff 10th.

The girl’s side was rounded out by Nemaha Central who had Kyndall Sextro finish eighth and Jillian Stueve ninth.

On the boy’s side Jeff County North claimed the team title with three runners inside of the top 10 led by Trevor Pentlin who took third while Dylan Wendling finished eighth and Cole Burk 10th.

The meet was won by Jackson Heights’ Daniel Little who won by nearly 30 seconds while the Cobras added a fourth-place finish by Drew Holliday.

Valley Falls and Nemaha Central rounded out the day with two top 10 finishers each as the Dragons had Noah Hefty finish third and Dawson Branam sixth while the Thunder got a seventh-place finish from Trenton Schmelzle and ninth place from Carter Lutz.
