Perry Lecompton Wrestling Takes Third to Lead Area Teams at St. Marys Invitational

St. Marys Invitational – Results

The high school wrestling season continued over the weekend with area teams competing at the St. Marys Invitational and the best area finish came from Perry Lecompton who took third out of 15 schools competing.

The Kaws were led by two first place finishes on the day as Grant Roush won the 152-pound title while Hayden Robb placed first at 220 pounds. Perry also received a second place finish by Mason Bahnmeier at 113 pounds while Christian Conklin did the same at 120.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy added three more first place finishes at St. Marys as Ethan Seager claimed the 106-pound title while Dylan Smith did the same at 160 and Will Madden at 195.

Pleasant Ridge, Jeff West and Doniphan West wrapped up first place finishers as the Rams had Nate Wilburn claim the 120-pound title while the Tigers had Joel Scott win at 170 and the Mustangs Nathaniel Howerton at 182.

On the girl’s side Jeff West received a first place finish from Montana Grahem at 130 pounds while Jada Anderson took second at 143.
