Five Area Teams Highlight Feb. 11 KBCA Rankings

Feb. 11 KBCA – Rankings

While the high school basketball season continued Tuesday night the Kansas Basketball Coaches Assocation has also released the newest set of state rankings featuring five area teams.

The girl’s rankings haven’t changed much from recent weeks with the Nemaha Central Thunder ranked No. 1 in Class 3A with a perfect 16-0 record while Sabetha is 14-1 overall and ranked fourth.

On the boy’s side of the 3A rankings the Royal Valley Panthers continue to vault up the rankings checking in this week at No. 5 with a record of 15-1.

The final two ranked teams come in Class 2A with the Jeff County North girls ranked fifth with a 15-1 record while the Valley Heights girls dropped to eighth this week at 15-2.
