Northeast Kansas League All-League Basketball Honors Announced

2019-20 NEKL All-League - Selections

Postseason honors continue to roll in around the area and the Northeast Kansas League is the final league to release their all-league teams for the 2019-20 season.

On the girl’s side the league was won this year by Jackson Heights who finished with a 15-1 league mark and one first team selection in senior Kylie Dohl.

Right behind the Cobras in the league standings was Jeff County North who had two girls earn first team honors in senior Josie Weishaar and junior Kinsey Schneider.

The first team was rounded out by Horton who finished third in the league and added two more girls to the first team in Kailea Smith and Maryanna Randall.

On the boy’s side the Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens continued to dominate the league winning by three games and finishing with one first team all-league selection in senior Abe Siebenmorgen.

The only team with multiple first team selections was McLouth who finished second in the league with Jaxson Pope and Tayshawn Barfield each earning first team nods.

NEKL all-league selections were rounded out by Valley Falls and ACCHS who each had one all-league player in the Dragons Avery Gatzemeyer and the Tigers Tucker Smith.
