KSHSAA Announces Classification Changes For Area Schools

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released the new classifications for 2020-21 school for all sports except for football.

Five area schools saw changes and in teams that moved up a classification Oskaloosa is up to 3A and Valley Falls moves from 1A to 2A.

In schools that dropped Maur Hill-Mount Academy is down to Class 2A along with ACCHS while Jackson Heights made the drop from 2A to 1A.

This now leaves 64 schools in classes 3A and 2A while there are 118 schools in Class 1A.
