Week Seven Kpreps – Rankings

Seven weeks of the high school football season are in the books and as we head into the final week of the regular season the newest set of state rankings have been released featuring six area teams.

In Class 3A Perry Lecompton dropped one spot this season to No. 3 following a 10-0 loss last week at now No. 2 Hayden.

The Class 2A rankings saw one change this week as Maur Hill-Mount Academy moved up to No. 4 as the Ravens got back on the field Friday night following a one-week hiatus and beat St. Mary’s 37-14 to remain unbeaten.

In Class 1A the Centralia Panthers continued to roll along and picked up a statement win over previously No. 5 Lyndon in dominant fashion 48-17.

The final ranked area teams come in 8-man as in division one Clifton-Clyde is fourth following a 64-16 win over previously unbeaten Argonia/Attica while in division two Hanover is second and Frankfort fifth after both did not play Friday night.
