McLouth Girls and Boys Lead Area Class 2A State Cross Country Qualifiers

Class 2A Cross Country Regional at Turner – Results

Area Class 2A teams competed at regional meets on Saturday and at the regional hosted by KC Turner it was two teams and 10 individuals punching spots to the state meet.

On the girl’s side McLouth qualified the team for the state with three girls in the top 12 led by Reagan Clark who placed sixth while Nina Hedden was 11th and Baylee Wolfe 12th.

Jeff County North added the only other girls state qualifiers with two, as Sydney Myers finished fourth while Zetta Noll came in 10th.

On the boy’s side McLouth won the meet behind four top 10 finishes led by Henry Cloyd who took third while August Forsberg, Andrew Cloyd and Jared Plake finished seventh through ninth.

Jeff County North added a single guy who qualified for state as Trevor Pentlin won the individual regional title by 15 seconds.

ACCHS added the final two state qualifiers from the Turner regional as Haeden Forbes finished sixth while Logan Rose came in tenth.

All state qualifiers now get set for the state meet which is scheduled to take place Saturday at Victoria begining at 9:30 a.m.
