Two Teams, Nine Individuals Ranked in First KWCA Rankings

Week One KWCA – Rankings 4A & 321A

The high school wrestling season got underway last week and with that the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has released the first set of rankings for the year featuring two area teams and nine local wrestlers.

In Class 4A the Holton Wildcats are ranked ninth as a team with two guys ranked as Jake Barnes is ranked second at 113 pounds while Konnor Tannahill is the top ranked wrestler at 195 pounds.

In the 321A classification the ACCHS Tigers are ranked ninth as a team with two more guys ranked as Mason Scholz is fourth at 132 pounds while Brodie Page is fourth at 138 and Colby Smith fourth at 152.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy added a ranked wrestler with Ethan Seager fifth at 106, while Perry Lecompton had Hayden Robb ranked second at 220 pounds along with Oskaloosa’s Justin Miller ranked sixth at 285 pounds.
