Six Boys, Three Girls Ranked in Dec. 23 KWCA Rankings

Dec. 23 KWCA Rankings – 4A, 321A, Girls

The newest set of state wrestling rankings have been released by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association this week featuring nine area athletes.

In Class 4A the Holton Wildcats have two guys ranked this week with Konnor Tannahill holding the top spot at 195 pounds while Jake Barnes is raked sixth at 120.

In the 321A rankings the ACCHS Tigers also have two guys ranked with Mason Scholz third at 132 pounds while Brodie Page is fifth in the 138-pound weight class.

Riverside and Perry Lecompton rounded out the boy’s rankings as the Cyclones have Conner Hayes ranked sixth at 132 pounds while the Kaws Hayden Robb is the top-ranked wrestler at 220.

In the girls rankings three area wrestlers are ranked with Royal Valley’s Maya Ogden third in the 138-pound weight class while ACCHS’ Tannah Forbes is second at 191 and Sabetha’s Kylie Meredith sixth at 235.
