11 Area Athletes Selected to 2021 8-man All-Star Games

Over the weekend the Kansas Eight-Man Football Association announced the selections for the 2021 8-man all-star game and 11 area athletes were selected to compete in the game.

Most selections came out of the Twin Valley League with Frankfort and Axtell each earning two guys to the game led by the Cats Aiden Gerstner and Gavin Cornelison while the Eagles Mitchell Buessing and George Volle were also selected in Division II.

Hanover finished with the most all-star selections after wining state this past year with Jacob and Colin Jueneman each earning spots in the game along with Jacob Klipp.

Wetmore and Valley Falls each added single a selection with the Cardinals Kael McQueen earning a nod in Division II along with the Dragons Cade Norris in Divison I.

Clifton Clyde and Washington County rounded out the local selections in Division I as the Eagles had Jarik Weiche and Aiden Rudolph earn nods while the Tigers Drew Buhrman wrapped up selections.

The 8-Man All-Star games are scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 12 in Beloit with complete rosters to be finalized in the spring.
