Holton Wrestling Wins Abilene Invitational

The high school wrestling season continued on Saturday for Holton who traveled to the Abilene Invite and the Cats claimed the top spot beating out the host by seven points.

Holton ended the day with four first place finishes as Jake Barnes took first at 120 pounds, Jayden Fletcher at 152, Konnor Tannahill at 195 and Dalton Roush at 220.

The Cats also got a second place finish from Tucker Gilliland at 106 pounds, Slater Skaggs at 132 and Andrew Williams at 285.

Next up for the Cats is a home dual against Atchison scheduled for Friday, Jan. 22.
