Valley Heights Invitational – Results

Area golf teams were back in action Friday at the Valley Heights Invitational and it was the Frankfort Wildcats who won the meet by 12 strokes over Centralia.

The Cats had three top 10 finishes led by Joey Hardwick who took third carding an 85, while Gavin Cornelison was fifth and Grady Fox sixth.

The best area finish came from Centralia’s Trent Mars who won the meet with an 81, while Jude Conley added a seventh-place finish for the Panthers.

Washington County had a pair of top three finishes as Mason Miller finished second with an 83, while Kobe Hoover tied for third with an 85.

Onaga rounded out the tournament with Josh Marten carding a 96 which was good enough for 11th.
