Frankfort Golf Goes Back-to-Back Claiming Onaga Invitational

Onaga Invitational – Results

Area golf teams were in action Monday afternoon at the Onaga Invitational and after rain moved out during the day it was the Frankfort Wildcats who claimed the tournament team title by over 20 strokes.

The Cats won the team title behind five top 10 finishes led by Aiden Gerstner who finished fourth carding a 90 while Gavin Cornelison and Joey Hardwick tied for fifth with a 92. Frankfort also got a ninth-place finish from Sebastian Thored who also tied with Grady Fox after each shot 95.

Centralia got their lone top finish from Trent Mars who tied for fifth with a 92, while Washington County’s Kobe Hoover rounded out top finishes carding an 87 to take second.
