Area Track Teams Compete at Wellsville

Wellsville Invitational - Results

Area track and field teams were in action Friday at the Wellsville Invitational and despite a strong field a handful of local individuals came away with wins.

Perry Lecompton’s Hunter Hess racked up a pair of wins on the day as he captured the 200 and 400-meter dashes.

The Kaws also swept the relay events on the boys side at the 4 by 100, 400 and 800-meter relay teams also took first place.

With those wins, Perry Lecompton was able to take third place as a team.
