Area Athletes Compete in 2021 Kansas Shrine Bowl

2021 Kansas Shrine Bowl – Stats

Area senior high school football players were in action for the final time on Saturday in the Kansas Shrine Bowl all-star game and several local athletes took part in the West squads 14-0 victory.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy running back Andrew Schwinn played well rushing 9 times for 31 yards while Jeff County North’s Landon Gutchschenritter rushed just one time for two yards along with catching one passes for 15 yards.

On defense Perry Lecompton’s Hayden Robb and Thad Metcalfe each finished second on the team in tackles with three along with a sack from Robb, while Holton’s Canon Karn added three tackles of his own.
